This house was once home to the Alfred Bebee family. Alfred was at one time the superintendent of the Ajax, the Cresson, the Vindicator and the Golden Cycle Mine, Vice President in charge of mining ending his long career in this area as superintendent of all mining and milling for the Cripple Creek District. The Bebee family lived in the house until the 1950s.
Most of the windows were wired shut except for the front door, where someone cut the wire which allowed me to go inside even though it’s pretty obvious they don’t want people in there. It was really spooky.
